Description

This course is designed for gynecologic surgeons to expand their robotics practice beyond the hysterectomy.  Attendees will learn how to efficiently approach tricky leiomyomas and adenomyosis, navigate distorted and obliterated pelvic anatomy for the dissection of endometriosis and to restore anatomy, expand their robotics practice for pregnancy implications, review how to stay out of danger and deal with complications as they arise, and lastly, how to effectively teach robotics to trainees.

Learning Objectives: After attending this session, the participant will be able to: 1) Apply robotics for complex gynecologic surgery, including fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, and distorted anatomy; 2) Outline the robotics applications in obstetrics; and 3) Practice and teach robotics in a safe and efficient manner.
