Dr. Thiers Soares Raymundo is Doctor Honoris Causa from Victor Babes University in Romania. He also leads the Gynecological Endoscopy Section at multiple institutions including the State University of Rio de Janeiro and Cardoso Fontes Hospital. Dr. Soares holds a Robotic Surgery Certificate from Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX, USA. Dr Soares is an Honorary Member of both Romanian and Bulgarian Society of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. He was recently elected to serve as Vice-Chair of AAGL Robotic Special Interest Group.
