Chief of Gynecologic Endoscopy Section State University of Rio de Janeiro and Cardoso Fontes HospitalRio de Janeiro, Brazil Dr. Thiers Soares Raymundo is Doctor Honoris Causa from Victor Babes University in Romania.  Dr Soares is also an Honorary Member of both Romanian and Bulgarian Society of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Dr. Thiers Soares Raymundo is the Former President of Brazilian Society of Videosurgery and Robotic – Section Rio de Janeiro (SOBRACIL-RJ) He holds the position of Chief of Gynecologic Endoscopy Section at State University of Rio de Janeiro and Cardoso Fontes Hospital in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil  He is Senior Medical Advisor, Shenzen Luohu Hospital, Shenzen, China as well an Honorary Member Romanian Society of Minimal-Invasive Surgery in Gynecology.   Dr. Raymundo is on the International Advisory Board of the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons (SLS) and a valued member of the SLS World Team.  He is a Member of the International Board of the Global Society of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain (GSEPS). He is currently  the Chair of AAGL Robotic Special Interest Group.
