Erica Stockwell DO MBA FACOG is an advanced gynecologic surgeon for AdventHealth in Celebration, FL and current Chair of the AAGL Robotics SIG.  She earned dual bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering and physiology from University of Minnesota and her medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago where she was awarded the prestigious departmental award in obstetrics and gynecology.  She completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology from University of Minnesota where she received several accolades for surgical skills, developed a robotics training curriculum and served as Chief Administrative Resident.  She completed a MIGS fellowship through an AAGL affiliated program in Las Vegas.  She concurrently received her MBA through University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  She completed both in 2017 and became Assistant Program Director for the fellowship program, Director of Simulation for the Sunrise HCA OB/GYN residency program, Assistant Clinical Professor for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Medical School and OB/GYN residency program, and Assistant Clinical Professor for Touro University Medical School.  She founded a nutraceutical company, Stockwell Medical, Inc.  In 2020, she was recruited to Celebration where she operates as a high-volume gynecologic surgeon.  She also continues to work closely with the medical device industry as a consultant and proctor and even holds several patents of her own.
