The course uses an objective stepwise approach to making the correct diagnosis using different imaging techniques, leading to proper surgical route selection individualized for the patient’s needs. The last discussion will focus on prevention of uterine niche by coupling surgical technique and suture material used to close hysterotomy defects created at the time of cesarean delivery.

Learning Objectives: After attending this session, the participant will be able to: 1) Utilize the different diagnostic modalities available for the diagnosis of Uterine niche; 2) Take the steps needed to confidently treat uterine niche laparoscopically and hysteroscopically; and 3) Strategize on prevention of uterine niche by coupling excellent surgical technique and proper suture material selection.
