Description

This course will provide a comprehensive review of the essentials of hysteroscopy. It will review the safety principles and introduce techniques to optimize cavity distension, visibility, and clarity. During the course, office hysteroscopy fears, basics in hysteroscopy, and review of operative techniques will be discussed.

Learning Objectives:
After attending this session, the participant will be able to: 1) Demonstrate competence with the available equipment and know how to choose what you need for the pathology at hand; 2) Navigate the uterine cavity and overcome common visualization obstacles; and 3) Utilize instrumentation appropriately for common pathology.
