Oshri Barel is the head of the Gynecology Department at Assuta Ashdod Hospital in Ashdod, Israel. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Israeli Institute of Technology, Cum Laude. He completed his speciality training in obstetrics and gynecology at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Israel. Afterwards, Oshri moved to Australia, where he completed his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS) at Monash Health in Melbourne. He is also a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Oshri is actively involved in clinical and basic research focusing on endometriosis, hysteroscopy, and minimally invasive surgery. He teaches at Ben Gurion University in Israel and has published over 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
