Description: Global progress in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery requires more than new techniques: it requires broader access, disciplined judgment, purposeful technology, and reproducible safety. Drawing on perspectives from India, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Morocco, this session moves from awareness and access through advanced surgical innovation, precision, complex decision-making, and prevention of urologic injury.
Learning Objectives: After attending this session, the participant will be able to: 1) Describe strategies to improve awareness of and access to care for deep infiltrating endometriosis; 2) Describe the principal recipient-selection criteria, donor and recipient safety considerations, and reproductive outcomes associated with uterus transplantation; 3) Evaluate the applications and limitations of fluorescence guidance in complex gynecologic surgery; 4) Apply multidisciplinary decision-making principles to the management of renal endometriosis; and 5) Apply practical strategies to reduce urologic complications during laparoscopic hysterectomy.
