Description: Hysteroscopy is an essential component of contemporary gynecologic practice, with expanding applications in both office and ambulatory surgical settings. As hysteroscopic procedures continue to evolve, gynecologic surgeons must develop proficiency with advanced instrumentation, fluid management, and a range of operative techniques to safely and efficiently manage intrauterine pathology.

This hands-on course is designed for surgeons seeking to refine and expand their hysteroscopic skills through practical, simulation-based training. Participants will rotate through expert-led simulation stations focused on office and operative hysteroscopy, including optimization of equipment setup, fluid management, mechanical hysteroscopic instrumentation (5 Fr instruments), hysteroscopic tissue removal systems, and resectoscopic techniques. Brief case-based discussions at each station will emphasize procedural decision-making, technical pearls, and strategies for managing common clinical challenges that can be readily incorporated into clinical practice.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to: 1) Optimize appropriate setup and performance of office and operative hysteroscopy; 2) Apply principles of safe fluid management and recognize strategies to prevent hysteroscopic complications; 3) Utilize hysteroscopic tissue removal systems for management of intracavitary pathology; 4) Incorporate resectoscopic techniques for treatment of intrauterine lesions; and 5) Integrate contemporary hysteroscopic technologies and surgical techniques into office and ambulatory surgical practice to improve efficiency and patient safety.
