Speaker Bio
Prof. Ramiro Cabrera, MD, is an internationally recognized leader in the surgical management of deep infiltrating endometriosis and complex chronic pelvic pain, with a particular focus on advanced, nerve-sparing, minimally invasive surgery. He is the Founder and Medical Director of EndoGlobal Group and the Doyenne Institute, two reference organizations dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for women affected by endometriosis and related pelvic pain syndromes. Based in Mexico, Prof. Cabrera has developed a national network of six specialized centers, strategically distributed across the country, ensuring access to standardized, expert-level care. These centers operate under a unified clinical model that integrates gynecologic surgery, colorectal surgery, urology, neuropelveology, radiology, pain medicine, pelvic floor physiotherapy, nutrition, and mental health—addressing chronic pelvic pain as a complex, multisystem disease rather than an isolated gynecologic condition. Prof. Cabrera is widely recognized for his expertise in complex surgical cases, including bowel, bladder, ureteral, diaphragmatic, and vascular involvement, applying meticulous en bloc excision techniques, advanced anatomical mapping, and functional nerve preservation. His work emphasizes the indispensable role of preoperative imaging protocols, validated classification systems, and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) to optimize surgical planning and long-term results.
