Gylynthia Trotman, MD MPH is Chief of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology with the Mount Sinai Health System, where she specializes in diagnosing and treating patients from infancy through young adulthood with medical and surgical gynecologic problems. Dr. Trotman is has a special clinic interest in minimally invasive surgery and management of pelvic pain.  Following residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Trotman completed Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology fellowship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Children’s National Medical Center. Over her career, she has developed a number of quality improvement initiatives, and played an integral role in the educational training and mentorship of medical students, residents and fellows. Dr. Trotman has published and lectured extensively and her expertise is highly sought out by her colleagues. Her aim is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care, optimize patient and family experience and provide education and advocacy for a diverse population.
