Dr. Thiers Soares Raymundo is Chief of the Gynecologic Endoscopy Section at the State University of Rio de Janeiro and Cardoso Fontes Hospital, Brazil. He is a Doctor Honoris Causa from Victor Babes University in Romania and holds honorary memberships in both the Romanian and Bulgarian Societies of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Dr. Raymundo was President of the Brazilian Society of Videosurgery and Robotics – Rio de Janeiro Section (SOBRACIL-RJ) and Chair of the AAGL Robotic Special Interest Group. His clinical and academic contributions focus on surgical innovation, advanced pelvic surgery, and the multidisciplinary management of complex gynecologic conditions, with special emphasis on uterine preservation and deep infiltrating endometriosis
