Dr. Shim is a faculty member in the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Boston Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. She is an obstetrician-gynecologist with specialized training in the care of children and adolescents with complex gynecologic and reproductive health needs. Dr. Shim's clinical and academic interests include endometriosis in adolescents. Her research emphasizes the development of non-invasive biomarkers and improved diagnostic pathways to enhance early detection and individualized management of gynecologic conditions in pediatric and adolescent populations.
