Fernanda Okita, MD, MSc, is a gynecologic surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, with a primary clinical and academic focus on advanced endometriosis and complex benign gynecologic diseases. She holds a Master of Science degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She currently serves as Associate Program Coordinator of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Training Program at Hospital Moriah, São Paulo, Brazil, and acts as a robotic surgery proctor at the same institution. Dr. Okita is also a surgeon with the EndoLearn Group, dedicated to the multidisciplinary treatment of endometriosis within the public healthcare system of the city of São Paulo. Dr. Okita is actively involved in surgical education and postgraduate training, participating as faculty in national and international courses and scientific meetings. Her academic interests include advanced pelvic anatomy, deep infiltrating endometriosis, robotic surgical platforms, and the application of innovative technologies aimed at enhancing surgical precision, reproducibility, and patient-centered outcomes. She serves as an official Ambassador of EndoLatam, contributing to regional academic collaboration and educational initiatives in endometriosis care throughout Latin America.
