Christine M. Helou, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She is a high volume surgeon and has earned the ABOG Focused Practice designation in MIGS. She is also an assistant professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Helou earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She went on to complete an AAGL fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Helou specializes in the care of women with benign complex gynecologic disorders and is passionate about improving women’s health through minimally invasive surgery. In addition to clinical care, she has a strong interested in quality improvement and serves as Chair of her institution's Peer Review Committee. She has also served on the AAGL Young Alumni Network (YAN) committee.
