Caroline is a recent graduate of the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer which is an extension of her passion for medical education. Prior to medicine, she worked in urban secondary education both as a high school teacher and in charter school management operations. Her experiences were formative and revealed the importance of leadership, communication, and teamwork; all which are critical building blocks to achieving a successful outcome. When she transitioned to medicine, these same principles applied in her role as a clinician-educator. Caroline strives to regularly educate both patients and learners, advance the cause of underprivileged women, and provide top-quality medical and surgical care to women during their most vulnerable times.
