Webinar Description: Diaphragmatic endometriosis represents one of the most complex and least standardized manifestations of endometriosis, requiring meticulous preoperative evaluation, thoughtful surgical planning, and advanced laparoscopic expertise. This one-hour, case-based webinar offers an in-depth exploration of the diagnosis and surgical management of diaphragmatic endometriosis, led by internationally recognized endometriosis surgeon Dr. Ricardo Pereira and moderated by Dr. Ted Lee and Dr. Victoria Vargas.

Dr. Pereira will provide a comprehensive review of preoperative assessment, including symptomatology, imaging
considerations, and multidisciplinary planning. The session will address surgical consent, with particular emphasis on
counseling patients regarding intraoperative findings, extent of resection, and potential thoracic involvement. Technical aspects of surgery will be discussed in detail, including port placement strategies, ergonomics of the laparoscopic approach, and methods to optimize surgeon efficiency and safety during prolonged, complex procedures.
