Design: A case study
Setting: The patient was in a dorsal lithotomy position and a slight Trendelenburg position. The surgeon sat at a console remote from the operating table.
Patients or Participants: One patient was selected for the case study
Interventions: Ovarian cystectomy
Measurements and Main Results: One successful case of an ovarian cystectomy was preformed using a single-port robotic system. The ovarian cyst was removed, and the patient tolerated the procedure well.
Conclusion: An ovarian cystectomy preformed using a single-port robotic system is safe and effective.
