Lissa X. Yu MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, at the University of Washington/ Seattle Children's Hospital. She completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and worked as a obstetrician/gynecologist at Kaiser Permanente before pursuing a fellowship in Pediatric Gynecology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Her research focuses on adolescent endometriosis, complex pelvic reconstruction, and management of mullerian anomalies. Her surgical videos have been presented at AAGL, NASPAG, and ASRM. She is the current Chair of the AAGL PAGSIG and is an original founding board member of this SIG, aimed at fostering collaboration between adult and pediatric gynecologic surgeons.
