I am a radiologist specialized in female pelvic imaging, with a particular focus on endometriosis, pelvic pain, infertility, and postoperative pelvic evaluation. My work centers on integrating advanced ultrasound techniques and dedicated pelvic MRI to improve diagnostic accuracy, support multidisciplinary decision-making, and guide surgical planning in complex gynecologic disease. I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Evidence-Based Imaging (CEBI), Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, where my research focuses on imaging appropriateness, adherence to radiology recommendations, and quality improvement initiatives in women's imaging. I am the founder and medical director of Chamié Imagem da Mulher, a dedicated women's imaging center in São Paulo, Brazil, recognized as a reference center for female pelvic imaging in Latin America. I also served as a senior radiologist at Fleury Medicina e Saúde for 23 years, where I built extensive experience in women's imaging and complex gynecologic disease. At my clinical practice, I developed structured imaging protocols and standardized reporting strategies for endometriosis and complex pelvic disease, with a strong emphasis on radiologist–surgeon collaboration and clinically actionable imaging.
