Dr. Grace Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. She completed her medical degree and residency at the University of Toronto, and a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery in Denver, Colorado (2000-2001) and at the University of Toronto, Ontario (2001-2002). She obtained her master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at Harvard (2008). She is currently the new Program Director for the AAGL Fellowship at the Sunnybrook site as of 2021, and previously served on the Board of Directors of AAGL. She has developed a well-received surgical simulation curriculum for residents at Sunnybrook Hospital, as well as a Canada-wide virtual suturing session for minimally invasive surgical fellows. She continues to be active in clinical research and education pertaining to minimally invasive surgery, fibroids, endometriosis, and surgical education.
