Judith Huirne is a leading Professor of Gynaecology at Amsterdam UMC, specializing in female-specific disorders, advanced imaging, and minimally invasive therapies. As Head of Gynaecology at a premier tertiary referral centre, she oversees complex care for uterine disorders including CS niches, adenomyosis  and endometriosis. She is a pioneer in translating clinical research into innovative diagnostics and therapeutics. She has a proven track record in high-level academic leadership, having supervised 30 completed PhDs with 50 currently under her guidance, supported by extensive competitive research grants and received societal impact and innovation awards.   Prof. dr. Judith Huirne     Beyond clinical excellence, she is a strategic architect of healthcare and research networks. Her leadership in the "Societal Acceptance of Female Specific Disorders" project was instrumental in shaping the 2025 National Women’s Health Strategy for the Ministry of Health in the Netherlands.
