Santiago Artazcoz, MD, is a gynecologist and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. His clinical focus includes the management of uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and fertility-preserving procedures, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and shared decision-making in complex surgical scenarios. Dr. Artazcoz has an active academic career and has served as faculty and speaker at multiple national and international gynecologic meetings. He has participated in scientific committees for major congresses and has held leadership roles within professional societies, including serving as Vice President of the Argentine Society of Endometriosis. He also served as Director of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship program in Argentina, contributing to the training of surgeons in advanced endoscopic techniques. He currently serves on the AAGL Fibroids SIG Board and is involved in educational initiatives focused on evidence-based, patient-centered surgical management of uterine fibroids.
