Dr. Andrea Tinelli completed his medical degree magna “cum laude” in 1996, at the School of Medicine “Federico II” of Naples, Italy, and specialized in Obstetrics & Gynecology cum laude in 2000 at the University of Trieste, Italy. After gaining her specialization, he carried out surgical fellowships in endoscopy and surgical oncology at Ginekoloska Klinica, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia); at Abteilung für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe, LandesKrankenHouse, Villach (Austria); at the European Institute of Oncology, Milan (Italy); and at the National Oncological Institute of Aviano (Italy). Dr. Tinelli is the author and co-author of 10 books and more than 400 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and 80 textbook chapters; he is an active member of national and international scientific and professional associations and is an Editorial Board Member of 11 Scientific Journals, as IJGO, Scientific Reports, JCM, Frontiers in Surgery, Frontiers in Oncology, Frontiers in Medicine, GPM, COCM, CEOG, EJGO et al. Dr. Tinelli’s has an h-index of 38, with more than 7000 citations. Dr. Tinelli collaborated and collaborates with prestigious and important international hospitals and universities, as documented by numerous publications and invitations to conferences and congresses as speaker and moderator.His clinical specialties include minimally invasive surgery and gynecological endoscopy, gynecological surgical oncology, molecular biology in gynecology, endometriosis, and pelvic floor repair. Dr. Tinelli currently is Chief of the ObGyn Department at "Veris delli Ponti Hospital", Scorrano, Lecce, and Scientific Manager of CERICSAL (CEntro di RIcerca Clinico SALentino) at "Veris delli Ponti Hospital", Scorrano, Lecce, Italy. Dr. Tinelli also worked at University-affiliated Hospital, the “Vito Fazzi” Hospital, in Lecce, Italy, as Chief of the Division of Experimental Researches on Endoscopic Surgery, Imaging, Minimally Invasive Technology, and Therapy in the ObGyn Department.Since January 2014, he has had national authorization as an associate professor in Obstetric and Gynecology, and he is a former adjunct professor at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Moscow, Russia.PhD in Morphological Molecular Sciences at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome, Italy. From August 2019, Dr. Tinelli has had national authorization as a full professor in obstetrics and gynecology in Italy. From September 2019, he is an honorary professor at Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China.
