Dr. Maria Claudia Alzamora was born in Lima, Peru, where she earned her medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University. She then moved to the United States to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Alzamora subsequently completed a fellowship in Complex Benign Gynecology at Cleveland Clinic and now serves as faculty in the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio.
