Description: This course focuses on the impact of single port robotics in gynecology. As the next generation of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, single port robotics offers less incisions and advancements in technology that allow surgeons to perform complex GYN, Urogyn and GYN Onc procedures. Single site laparoscopic surgery has had variable adoption around the world due to its steep learning curve. However, single port robotics platforms surpass these limitations, allowing for complex procedures to be rapidly performed with these new platforms. This course aims to showcase evidence based outcomes of single port robotic platforms, including US data and data from South Korea, Japan and China. Further, novel technologies and platforms beyond those available in the US will be discussed.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:

1. dentify the benefits and pitfalls of applying single port robotics surgery technology with a focus on Urogynecology.
2. Recognize the different platforms available globally, and familiarize themselves with the Chinese experience, both abdominally and VNOTES.
3. Identify the impact that single port robotic surgery has had on the surgical landscape in South Korea, transitioning from single site laparoscopy to robotics.
