Many of our attendees travel to Congress with the people they love. To help you stay present for both the science and your family, AAGL provides a private onsite Mother’s Lounge and a curated list of trusted Boston-area childcare providers.

Onsite Mother's Lounge
For the convenience of our attendees, we are pleased to provide an on-site Mother’s Lounge. This private space is equipped with comfortable seating, power outlets, and refrigeration, offering a secure and practical environment for nursing or pumping. The lounge ensures that attendees balancing professional commitments and parenting needs can participate fully in the meeting with ease.
Mamava Nursing Pod at the Hynes Convention Center
Nursing mothers have access to a private, comfortable Mamava lactation pod located inside the Hynes Convention Center. The pod offers a clean, secure space equipped with seating, a shelf, and outlets for pumping. Access is available through the Mamava app, which allows you to locate, unlock, and check availability of the pod during event hours.
Childcare Services in Boston
On-site childcare will not be provided at the meeting. However, we have compiled a list of local providers that you may contact directly to arrange services as needed.

- Destination Sitters: Matches out-of-town families with screened sitters; reservations can be made online or by calling (617) 299-7970. Specializes in professional event childcare at Boston-area conference venues, hotels, and meeting spaces, providing safe and engaging care for multi-day programs.
- Boston's Best BabySitters: Operating since 1996, this local agency provides deeply vetted, experienced in-hotel sitters. They require a 3-hour daily minimum and can be reached by calling (617) 536-1600.
- Nurture Haven Nannies & Co.: Offers specialized in-room childcare by RN-vetted nannies (Call: 774-292-4600).
Family Resources in the Back Bay
The Hynes Convention Center is ideally located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood and is surrounded by convenient services designed to support a comfortable and stress-free stay. Within walking distance, families will find pharmacies, including CVS locations for everyday essentials, prescriptions, health and wellness products, and travel necessities. Several nearby urgent care centers are also available for non-emergency medical needs, providing peace of mind while away from home.
The area also offers fitness and wellness facilities, grocery and convenience stores, casual dining options, stroller-friendly shopping areas, and relaxing outdoor spaces. The adjacent Prudential Center features more than 70 shops and restaurants, family amenities, and inviting public spaces such as the South Garden, an urban oasis perfect for a break between activities. Families can also enjoy nearby attractions, museums, parks, sightseeing tours, and Boston’s historic neighborhoods—all easily accessible from the Congress venue.
