Dr. Victoria Vargas is an nationally renowned endometriosis surgeons with over 10 years of experience specialized in the treatment of advanced endometriosis and other complex gynecologic conditions. She completed her specialty training at the Harvard Medical School Brigham and Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital integrated residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. She went on to complete her Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at George Washington University where she continued as an Assistant Professor for 6 years. She went on to become the Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery for Johns Hopkins Medicine in the national capital region, running a team specializing in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with a focus on multidisciplinary care for endometriosis. She then started Washington Endometriosis and Complex Surgery in 2025 with her partners, Dr. Obias and Dr. McHale, with a goal of elevating the standard of care provided for patients living with endometriosis. She has served on the board of the AAGL Endometriosis Special Interest Group for the past 5 years, most recently as the President of the board.
