Dr. Shadae K. Beale was raised in Queens, New York, and is a proud graduate of Wellesley College, where she earned a BA in French and Women’s and Gender Studies. She completed her pre-medical post-baccalaureate studies at Hofstra University before earning her MD from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Beale began her clinical training with an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwell Health’s North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She continued her residency at Meharry Medical College before transferring to the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), where she completed her residency and became the inaugural fellow in KUMC’s Academic Specialist Fellowship. Currently, Dr. Beale is a second-year fellow in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern, with a focus on endometriosis excision surgery, chronic pelvic pain management, and fertility preservation and optimization. Outside of medicine, she enjoys expressing her creativity as a sewist and gardener, and she loves to travel.
