Dr. Nicole Belliard Martuscelli is a third-year resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Born and raised in Brazil and South Florida, she earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she distinguished herself through academic achievement and patient advocacy. Her academic interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and health outcomes research. She is the lead author of a nationwide propensity-matched study comparing robotic versus non-robotic repair of rectovaginal and colovaginal fistulas. She is also involved in projects addressing cesarean section rates, quality improvement, and discontinuation of pessary use. Dr. Martuscelli serves on the board of directors of the Miami OB-GYN Society and is actively involved in medical education, mentoring junior residents and medical students in both clinical and surgical training. She is passionate about serving the diverse South Florida community, which includes underserved and immigrant populations, an experience that has deepened her commitment to health equity. She aspires to pursue fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, with the goal of combining clinical excellence, research, and teaching in an academic career. When not immersed in her medical pursuits, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, surfing, and indulging in her passion for travel.
