I am a gynecologic surgeon specialized in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS), with a strong academic and leadership focus on advanced benign gynecologic surgery. I serve as Director of the TecSalud‚ÄìAAGL MIGS Fellowship Program in Monterrey, Mexico, the only AAGL-affiliated fellowship of its kind in the country, where I am actively involved in training the next generation of laparoscopic surgeons. I currently serve as President of the Federaci≥n Mexicana de Asociaciones y Colegios de Endoscopia Ginecol≥gica (FEMEG), leading national initiatives aimed at standardizing MIGS training and improving access to high-quality minimally invasive surgery across Mexico. My work emphasizes surgical education, curriculum development, and international collaboration, particularly with AAGL and academic partners across Latin America. My clinical expertise includes complex benign gynecologic surgery, advanced laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometriosis surgery, myomectomy, and management of hostile pelvic anatomy. I am an invited speaker at national and international meetings and remain committed to evidence-based surgery, surgical safety, and leadership development. I am currently a participant in the Harvard Medical School Surgical Leadership Program.
