Dr. Lisa Hickman is a urogynecologist at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she joined as faculty after completing her Ob/Gyn residency and URPS fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Hickman serves as the immediate-past chair of AAGL's Urogyn/Vaginal Surgery special interest group and the vice chair of the American Urogynecologic Society's Advanced Practice Provider committee. She has a passion for peripartum pelvic floor disorders and founded the Childbirth Pelvic Floor Disorders Clinic at Ohio State, for which she serves as the director. She has published widely on this subject and also has both a clinical and research interest in postpartum urinary retention, enhanced recovery after surgery and vaginal hysteropexy techniques.
