Dr. Liron Bar-El is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) specializing in complex gynecologic surgery and endometriosis care. She earned her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and subsequently completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in MIGS at the Cleveland Clinic. She has additional focused training in deep nerve and bowel endometriosis surgery in Bordeaux, France, as well as advanced training in endometriosis-specific pelvic ultrasound in Hamilton, Canada. Her research encompasses basic, translational, and clinical investigations in reproductive health, infertility, embryology, and surgical innovation. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, presented at national and international conferences, and received recognition for her contributions to surgical innovation, research, and education, including the 2024 Catalyst SPARK Innovation Award, the 2025 Society of Gynecologic Surgeons Best Research Award, and the 2025 AAGL Foundation IRCAD Award. Dr. Bar-El is committed to compassionate, individualized care for patients with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, while mentoring future gynecologic surgeons, advancing research, and advocating for the endometriosis community.
