Dr. Lily Johnston is a double board-certified vascular surgeon whose work bridges advanced surgical care with prevention and long-term cardiovascular health. She earned her BA summa cum laude from Princeton University, her MD from the University of California San Diego, and her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Virginia, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Johnston currently practices at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. She has authored more than two dozen peer-reviewed publications, delivers invited lectures on vascular and metabolic health, and serves on national committees for the Society for Vascular Surgery.
