Mr Fevzi Shakir is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, London, UK. He is the Clinical Director of the Department and has been on the BSGE council since 2014 and currently is Honorary Treasurer for the Society. He is also Medical Advisor and Trustee to the Endometriosis UK Charity. He founded RIGS as part of the BSGE and has presented in multiple National and International meetings as well as well published numerous journals and books. He has been awarded several prizes to include the Golden Telescope Award. In his spare time he enjoys running and raising money for Charity.
