Dr. Sophia N. Palmer is the Director for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Advanced Gynecologic Ultrasound at Jacobi Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. She is the chair of the AAGL Advanced Gynecologic Ultrasound and Imaging Special Interest Group, established in 2024. She utilizes advanced gynecologic ultrasound techniques for pre-operative surgical planning and additional imaging modalities, when indicated.
