Dominique Filloux is Chief Development Officer at Fogarty Innovation, a nonprofit educational incubator dedicated to advancing medical innovation that improves human health (www.fogartyinnovation.org).  He has spent his 40-year career in various operating roles bringing many novel medical devices / systems to market, most recently as the Chief Operations Officer at Minerva Surgical, Inc.  His experience also includes the development of a broad range of ground-breaking products in the areas of cardiac and cardiothoracic surgery, interventional cardiology, directed drug delivery, and structural heart disease.   Dominique started his medical device career at EndoVascular Technologies, (acquired by Guidant) and held executive-level positions at Pinpoint Therapeutics, Ventrica (Medtronic), Cierra (Terumo), Arstasis, and Minerva Surgical.  He has developed considerable subject matter expertise in the areas of product development (including implants and electrically active medical devices), global manufacturing operations, quality assurance and quality management systems development, regulatory affairs, and business development.  Dominique holds a BS in Applied Mechanics from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
