Dr. Aya Mohr Sasson received her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel, and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sheba Medical Center. She previously served as a senior physician in the BRCA mutation clinics and is currently a faculty member in the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Unit at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Mohr Sasson is a graduate of the Surgical Leadership Program at Harvard Medical School and holds academic appointments as Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University and Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She leads investigative teams focused on advancing gynecologic research and is dedicated to mentoring and promoting academic excellence among early-career investigators.
