Dr. Asha McClurg is an assistant professor of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina. Dr. McClurg completed medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She went on to complete her OBGYN residency at the University of Utah, then completed her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of North Carolina. Her research interests include equity of gynecologic surgical care, hysterectomy practice patterns, surgical education, and transgender surgical care.
