Anna Zelivianskaia, MD, FACOG is a specialist in Gynecological Pain and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Endeavor Health. She received a B.A. with honors in biology and anthropology from the University of Chicago and received her medical degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She moved to Washington DC to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. Throughout training, she advocated for health policy that reduced social disparities and improved medical care for underserved patients. As a MIGS specialist, she remains passionate about advocating for women’s health and improving care for chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. Since so many women face barriers when accessing care for gynecologic conditions, Anna is interested in addressing these barriers on individual and systemic levels. She is also invested in patient and physician education as a member of the AAGL Young Alumni Network committee and the SGS Social Media committee. Anna was previously an Assistant Professor in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University – Lewis Katz School of Medicine. She moved back to the Chicago area this past summer with her husband, two-year-old son, and dog.
