Description: This course explores surgical excision techniques for endometriosis that is peritoneal versus cystic disease and means of targeting for chronic pelvic pain. Complex pelvic surgery video demonstrations and review of corresponding patient-oriented outcomes will be assessed for techniques.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Objective Identify surgical techniques for excision of endometriosis for targeted pain alleviation
- Objective Identify patients at risk for chronic post-surgical pain
- Objective Understand surgical techniques and use of imaging for endometriosis peritoneal disease and the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning models
