Abstract
Study Objective: Nerve Sparing Surgery For Deep Endometrioses
Design: Case Report
Setting:
- Lithotomy position.
- 4th generation Robotic platform.
- Right side docking of the 4 robotic arms.
- Accessory puncture with a 12mm disposable trocar for laparoscopic assistance.
Patients or Participants:
- 45 years old female, nulliparous, with chronic pelvic pain and previous endometriosis surgeries in 2022 and 2023.
Interventions: Nerve Sparing Surgery for Deep Endometrioses with Left Parametrectomy + Colpectomy + Retossigmoidectomy + Appendectomy
Measurements and Main Results:
- Robotic Assisted Laparoscopy for Endometriosis Treatment.
Conclusion:
- Autonomic nerve-sparing techniques offers good results in terms of debilitating impairments in neurological functions especially in terms of bladder symptoms.
- Good knowledge of pelvic nerve anatomy and function allows understanding of related symptoms to reduce morbidity.
