Design: Case Report
Setting: Operating room at a tertiary care academic hospital. Patient was in dorsal lithotomy position in Allen Stirrups. Docked to the da Vinci robot in standard fashion.
Patients or Participants: 37 y/o patient who presented with heavy menstrual bleeding, chronic pelvic pain and bicornuate uterus vs uterus didelphys on imaging who desired definitive treatment of symptoms.
Interventions: Robotic assisted total laparoscopic hysterectomy with bilateral salpingoopherectomy, excision of endometriosis and vaginal septum excision.
Measurements and Main Results: Patient was assessed before surgery via physical exam, TVUS and MRI. Results of the surgery included relief of heavy menstrual periods and chronic pelvic pain.
Conclusion: This video demonstrates surgical treatment for patients with OHVIRA syndrome.
