Speaker Bio
Megan Gornet is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University in St. Louis, having joined the faculty in September. Megan received her Medical Degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she also completed both residency and fellowship.  She sought out enhanced extracurricular training in reproductive surgery and advanced laparoscopy and robotics, with an emphasis on onco-fertility and complex fertility preservation thanks to the invaluable mentorship and collaboration afforded to her between Reproductive Endocrinology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, and Gynecologic Oncology divisions at Johns Hopkins.  This culminated in several milestones including Megan's instrumental involvement in the institution's first uterine transposition with Rebecca Stone, as well as the first eutopic autologous ovarian tissue transplant at Johns Hopkins with Kristin Patzkowsky. Her long term aspirations are for the continued collaborative growth of Reproductive Surgery for the benefit of patients with complex fertility needs.
