Dr. Carrillo, is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon and educator, specializing in chronic pelvic pain. He completed his residency at Rochester General Hospital (NY), his Fellowship in MIGS at the University of Rochester (focusing on chronic pelvic pain) and is currently completing a master’s degree in Health Professions Education (University of Maastricht, the Netherlands). Since 2017 he is based at the Orlando VA Healthcare System and University of Central Florida, balancing clinical and surgical expertise with education and leadership. He is a Professor in OBGYN for the University of Central Florida, FMIGS Faculty and Residency Site Director at the Orlando VA, and is the 2024 International Pelvic Pain Society President. His passion for adult learning translates into engaging and interactive sessions for his audience.
