Dr Johnny Yi is an Associate Professor of OBGYN at the Mayo Clinic Arizona. As a urogynecologist, his focus is on surgical treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.  His research interest has been focused on innovation in robotic surgery for gynecology, with particular interest in Single Port Robotic surgery.  He also has had research collaboration in multi-disciplinary robotic surgery, evaluating the use of the robotic platform in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.  He is one of the first urogynecologists to perform single port robotic surgery and has published on his early experiences related to this.  With his experience of performing over 100 cases with the SPORT platform, his goal is to expand the knowledge and understand the role of this platform globally for gynecologic surgery.
