Mr Arvind Vashisht is the Clinical Lead for Gynaecology services at University College Hospital London and Cleveland Clinic Hospital. He is the President of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, the largest specialist Women’s Health Society in the United Kingdom. He is an expert in minimal access surgery and has an interest in the treatment of endometriosis and pelvic floor problems. He has many ongoing research projects in these areas is a PhD supervisor and is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London. He formerly sat on the Clinical Governance Committee for the British Society of Urogynaecologists. Dr Vashisht has developed national training curricula as well as directing national teaching programmes for advanced laparoscopic surgery.
