Dr. Craig Sobolewski is Assistant Professor and Chief, Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Duke University. He received his M.D. from the Ohio State University College of Medicine.  He completed his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital/Penn State University and stayed on as faculty. He joined the Duke University faculty in 2003.  His clinical expertise lies in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical procedures. Dr. Sobolewski has received several awards for skills as an educator including the Duke University Distinguished Faculty Award, the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award, and has twice been the recipient of the CREOG National Faculty Award. He has been invited to speak in several countries throughout Asia.  He has authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.  He was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of the AAGL and was honored to serve in that role from 2010 to 2012.
