Billianne Schultz is a third-year medical student at Carle Illinois College of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Billianne is passionate about women's health and improving healthcare access, particularly through her role as Co-Founder and Director of Avicenna Women's Health Clinic, a free clinic serving the Champaign County, Illinois community. She is actively engaged in research within obstetrics and gynecology at CIMED and has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences from her work with the Tranquillo Lab at the University of Minnesota. Billianne’s career goals include pursuing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. She hopes to continue being involved in research and volunteering her time to enhance access to women’s healthcare. Outside of medicine, Billianne enjoys skiing, playing clarinet, and spending time with her two cats.
