Mariona Rius, MD, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Barcelona and completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She obtained her PhD in 2022 and has been working since 2014 as a gynecologist at Hospital Cl≠nic of Barcelona, a tertiary referral center. Her main areas of expertise include endometriosis, ultrasound diagnosis of benign gynecological disease, and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic techniques. She is particularly experienced in the ultrasound assessment and surgical management of endometriosis and other benign gynecological conditions. Dr. Rius is the author and co-author of multiple peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and is an active participant in international congresses focused on endometriosis and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has served as faculty in advanced laparoscopic workshops and endometriosis courses since 2014.
