Barbara Levy MD is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.  She has over 40 years experience in direct patient care and currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for Visana Health Inc., a virtual first women's health company.  In addition, she is Vice-Chair of the AMA CPT Editorial Panel, past chair of the AMA RBRVS Update Committee, and was vice president for Health Policy at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for over 7 years.  Dr. Levy served as President of the AAGL from 1994-1995.  She has published over 100 studies and peer-reviewed articles.  Much of her personal and professional experience has been focused on improving the health, well-being and livelihood of women across the US and throughout the world.
